At Project EATS we collaborate with residents, schools and local organizations to transform underused lots in working class and low income communities into sustainable, chemical free, neighborhood farms.
We activate urban nature, strengthen neighborhood-based economies, and increase the quality of learning and skills individuals and families can access in their communities.
Our work builds bonds between neighbors, creating space to support mutual health and well being.
and we can’t do it without you.
Project EATS is a program of Active Citizen Project, a New York State nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation.
We cannot create a sustainable existence until we have a sense of relevance, responsibility, capability and skill. Project EATS is a model to explore how we can create and affect the environment we live in today.
