ABOUT

This location has both ground level and roof top sites. The ground-level farm has 20 soil-based raised beds and the rooftops are two green roof towers. The Crossing stands as New York City's pioneering vegetable green roof farm, championing environmental sustainability. The green roofs serve as a crucial urban oasis, mitigating heat island effects and reducing stormwater runoff, thus contributing to the city's resilience against climate change.
