Garden Visit

Today the volunteers at the Thomas Jefferson Garden took a little visit to Festival Garden. At the garden we saw different kinds of vegetables growing like swiss chard, purple cabbage and beans. We did not actually go in the garden because it was closed we just looked from the outside. Festival Garden seems very big.Also today we learned about how water is traveled through plants. Plants like Brussels sprouts that have tubes to carry water up are vascular plants.See More

Garden Visit
