Project EATS (Art. Food. Life.)

Using what we have. Creating what we need.

How to Make an ArtAction

  1. Take a situation or condition in real life which affects people and make it the catalyst and objective of your ArtAction.
  2. Know what you want to change about the situation/condition and which factors you need to eliminate, reshape, or create to achieve your objective.
  3. Use whatever resources are available at or near the situation/condition where your ArtAction occurs as your primary materials.  Be sure to include values, traditions, folklore, and customs on your list of materials.
  4. Include elements that cause engagers to experience a personal connection to the situation/condition your ArtAction addresses.
  5. Expose how current thought or non-thought affects the factors that create the situation or condition.
  6. Create magic and possibilities from your ArtAction sufficient enough to trigger ideas and actions from those who engage it.
